Welcome to iSPARX™, the leading immersive media company at the forefront of merging augmented reality (AR) with the creative world. Our innovative AR+artists App, CMS, and SDK are revolutionising the way artists and practitioners engage with their audiences. With a strong focus on Apple Vision Pro, we are building cutting-edge technologies that push the boundaries of spatial 3D galleries and create unforgettable immersive experiences. At iSPARX™, we are dedicated to developing immersive media solutions that empower artists and practitioners to unleash their creativity and captivate audiences like never before.

Advanced Photogrammetry for Wharenui Harikoa:

During the months of March and April, iSPARX™ undertook an ambitious project involving advanced photogrammetry techniques to capture the Wharenui Harikoa, a traditional Maori meeting house. The objective was to create a 3D digital representation of the Wharenui Harikoa, which would be integrated into an AR+artist™ mobile app. The app, slated for release in June, would allow users to explore the intricacies of the Wharenui Harikoa through augmented reality.

Motion Capture and Projection Mapping with Atamira Dance Company:

iSPARX™ has also been actively involved in planning a collaboration with the Atamira Dance Company. The goal is to capture the performances of the dance company using motion capture technology and enhance them with special effects (SFX) particle effects for projection mapping. This innovative project aims to push the boundaries of immersive experiences by blending live performances with augmented reality elements.

Greatest Hits with Chris Cuffaro:

Renowned photographer Chris Cuffaro worked with iSPARX™ in February to bring his iconic event exhibition "Greatest Hits" to Aotearoa. The exhibition showcased a collection of Cuffaro's iconic photographs, which were brought to life using augmented reality. iSPARX™ designed & installed the exhibition in the Auckland studio. iSPARX™ has developed an AR+artist™ app specifically for this exhibition, allowing visitors to interact with the photographs in a unique and immersive manner. The success of this exhibition paved the way for the pending international release of the AR+artist™ app in July.

Develop and Design for HA-HA AR+artist™ App

iSPARX™ undertook a collaboration with Melbourne street artist HA-HA (Regan Tamanui) to develop an AR+artist™ app featuring geo-spatial AR and anchor locks. This innovative app offers users a new and unique feature by allowing them to engage with HA-HA's street art through augmented reality experiences. The app's geo-spatial AR functionality enables users to locate and interact with HA-HA's artworks in real-world locations, creating a dynamic and interactive street art experience.
