iSPARX™ is an immersive index - built for 6G & CPS since 2015*

*In anticipation of 6G & CPS we designed the iSPARX™ Immersive Space Programme - an immersive media index.

iSPARX™ is an immersive index that has been specifically developed for the next-generation technologies of 6G (6th generation wireless technology) and CPS (Cyber-Physical Systems). This innovative platform represents a significant architectural, disruptive, and radical innovation for several reasons.

Architectural Innovation:

iSPARX™ introduces a new architecture that is designed to support the advanced capabilities of 6G and CPS. It provides a framework and infrastructure that enables seamless integration and interaction between various immersive media components, such as augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR). This architectural innovation sets the foundation for the future of immersive media technologies.

Disruptive Innovation:

By leveraging the power of 6G and CPS, iSPARX™ disrupts the traditional boundaries of media consumption and interaction. It goes beyond the limitations of conventional media platforms by offering a highly immersive and dynamic experience. Users can engage with content in new ways, allowing for more interactive and personalised experiences. This disruption opens up new possibilities and challenges existing paradigms of media consumption.

Radical Innovation:

iSPARX™ brings about radical innovation by fundamentally transforming the way we experience and interact with media. The combination of its Content Management System (CMS) and AR+ Apps creates a dynamic ecosystem that delivers immersive media experiences. The radical innovation lies in its ability to merge the physical and digital worlds seamlessly, enhancing our perception and understanding of reality.

The iSPARX™ CMS empowers content creators and publishers to curate and manage immersive media content efficiently. It provides tools for organising, updating, and distributing content across various devices and platforms. This streamlines the content creation process and ensures a consistent and engaging user experience.

The AR+ Apps developed on the iSPARX™ platform leverage the power of AR to overlay digital information onto the real-world environment. These apps enable users to access dynamic immersive media content in real-time. Here are a few examples of how the CMS and AR+ Apps will innovate function:

Enhanced Education: Imagine students using AR+ Apps to explore historical sites or scientific concepts, where virtual information overlays the physical environment. This interactive and immersive learning experience can greatly enhance understanding and engagement.

Personalised Shopping: Retailers can use the iSPARX™ CMS to create virtual showrooms and product catalogs. Users can then use AR+ Apps to try on virtual clothing or visualise furniture in their own homes, creating a personalised shopping experience.

Remote Collaboration: The CMS and AR+ Apps can facilitate remote collaboration by enabling users to share immersive media content in real-time. For example, engineers working on a project can use AR+ Apps to visualise and annotate virtual prototypes together, regardless of their physical location.

Entertainment and Gaming: The combination of CMS and AR+ Apps opens up new possibilities for immersive entertainment and gaming experiences. Users can engage in interactive storytelling, gamified experiences, and multiplayer games that blend the digital and physical worlds.

Overall, the iSPARX™ CMS and AR+ Apps provide a glimpse into the future of immersive media. They enable dynamic content creation and delivery, foster interactive experiences, and have the potential to revolutionise various aspects of our lives, from education and shopping to collaboration and entertainment.
