iSPARX™ was provided a short brief - retail, AR engagement (“probably 200 retail locations - tops!”).
To our surprise the brief was a POC for BP with consideration for scale & installation of the BP Global network & 18,500 outlets… with 6 weeks to deliver a POC functional App tested at a location - Melbourne; 3 x 2 week sprints; multiple sets of International flights across 3 continents & with an entourage of 12 (6 x iSPARX™, 2 x Two Goats, 2 x EY & 2 key BP contacts).
iSPARX sprints
Initial issues with Customs, freight & critical design considerations caused cost & delay in development time with the first sprint - 2 weeks lost; we were left with 4 weeks to test, build & deliver. iSPARX™ consolidated & isolated our development & design schedule, implementing demanding schedules involving 100 hour weeks for the 5 person iSPARX™ development team.
iSPARX™ provided a solution that used advanced location & AR methods to create an engaging user experience.
