    Collects request metadata to maintain and improve GigBox Map services.

    Collects stack traces during crashes within the SDK code and crash metrics such as abnormal terminations to improve the stability of our SDKs and improve GigBox services.

  • IP address
    Collects IP addresses to understand SDK usage and improve GigBox services.

  • lat/lng coordinates
    Collects lat/lng coordinates to provide features like turn-by-turn navigation and live traffic conditions and to improve GigBox services.

  • Navigation interaction events
    Collects interaction data such as the following, to improve GigBox services:

    Panning and zooming the map when the Map Camera APIs are used.

    Previewing navigation turns.

    Views on certain navigation UI elements.

  • Navigation SDK identifier
    Collects a securely generated identifier that resets on a regular basis in order to understand Navigation SDK usage and improve GigBox services.

  • Is user data encrypted in transit.

    All data collected is encrypted in transit and on our servers - AWS and/or Azure. Data used in navigation is encrypted from the SDK to our 3rd party providers.

  • Is there is a mechanism for users to request deletion of their data.

  • How each user data type is handled - specifically whether it is used to build user profiles or advertising profiles.

    Profile data collected is stored and hosted on our AWS/Azure servers with SSL security. No data is used for direct advertising or algorithms for targeted advertising.

  • The app follows Google Play's Families policy (for apps targeted to children).
